Competition Draw - Spring 2014 Mens Open - Thursdays - Divisions 2 & 3

Games commenced Thursday 2nd October for the Spring Mens Open Division playing on Thursdays.

There are 18 teams competing in the Spring 2014 Season on Thursday Nights, with another Mens Open Competition playing on Monday nights.

Given the issues with the grounds at Stockdale Reserve Abbotsbury, games will be played at Tarlington Reserve Bonnyrigg.

There will be games running in 5 time slots; 6.00pm, 6.45pm, 7.30pm, 8.15pm & 9.00pm.

The Mens Open competition was run ungraded for the first 5 rounds.

The results of these games were assessed and used to create 3 divisions.

A draw for rounds 6-10 have been published, with each team in each division playing each other once. 

The draw for Rounds 11 & 12 will be developed following the conclusion of Round 10, and will be as follows;

Round 11 - 1v2, 3,5, 4v6

Round 12 - 1v3, 2v4, 5v6

Points accumulated in the first 5 rounds will count towards the season points score.

The top 4 teams in each division will proceed to a finals series.

Cash prizes are on offer for ALL teams who make the Grand Final, with Division 1 winners also scoring Premiers Jackets.

Requests for non-competing game times for players playing in multiple teams has been supported.

Requests for early and late games have been supported where possible, but given that not all teams want the same thing, this is not always possible.

The Grand Final will be followed by a Free BBQ and Drinks. All participants, family and friends are invited to attend and cheer on their favourite team. We wish all teams the best of luck.
