Competition Draw - Winter 2017 - Mixed Open Wednesdays - D1

Games commenced Wednesday 10th May for the Winter 2017 Wednesday Mixed Open competition.

There are 20 Mixed Teams registered.

There are games running in 4 time slots;  6.30pm, 7.15pm, 8.00pm & 8.45pm.

The Winter 2017 competition was run ungraded for the first 5 Rounds.

After Round 5, teams performances were assessed, with teams now placed into three Divisions for the final 7 Rounds.

Teams in Divisions 1& 2 will play each other once over 5 Rounds (Rounds 6 through 10), with Rounds 11 & 12 then played in the following format;

• Round 11: 1v2, 3v5, 4v6
• Round 12: 1v3, 2v4, 5v6

Points from the first 5 Rounds do contribute to the season points total.

At the conclusion of Round 12, the top 4 teams in each division will proceed to a finals series in the following format;

• Semi-Finals: 1v4, 2v3
• Grand Final: Winners from Semi-Finals

Cash prizes are on offer for the teams who make the Grand Final, plus season Premiers (Division 1 winners) receive custom branded merchandise of their choosing.

Requests for non-competing game times for players playing in multiple teams has been supported.

We have support requests for early and late games where possible.

The Winter 2017 season is drawing to a close, with the Grand Final game now scheduled. All registered players are invited to attend, cheer on their favorite team & join in the end of season celebrations. A Free BBQ & Drinks will be on offer. We wish good luck to all teams.
